Laura
Denice
Mar 9, 1982 — Jun 13, 2026
With deep love and sorrow, the family of Laura Michelle Denice announces her passing on
June 13, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on March 9, 1982, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Laura
lived a life defined by a generous heart of gold and a gift for making others feel truly seen
and special, even as she remained private about her own life. She was preceded in death
by her mother, Debra L. Denice.
Laura’s devotion to family was the steady center of her world. She is survived by her father,
Joseph R. Denice Sr; her siblings, Ellen M. Denice, Joseph R. Denice II, and Kelly R.
Denice; and by the nieces and nephew who brought her endless joy: Tyler J. Glasier,
Alyssa V. Glasier, and Arriana L. Dickson. To them—and to all who loved her—Laura was
the one who remembered every birthday, who turned ordinary holidays into cherished
traditions, and who showed her love through quiet, thoughtful gestures. Her legacy of
kindness, generosity, and unfailing thoughtfulness will continue to live on through her
family.
A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, Laura began serving the federal
government immediately after graduating from high school in 2000. She later built a
distinguished career as a Senior Consultant with the government subcontractor eskillz.
Colleagues knew her for her strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability—qualities she
carried into every aspect of her life.
Service details will be shared by the family at a later date. In the spirit of how Laura moved
through the world, those wishing to honor her memory are invited to make someone feel
special today—a note, a call, a kindness—echoing the quiet grace she offered so freely.
Laura will be deeply missed and forever loved by her father, her sisters and brother, her
nieces and nephew, and all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her thoughtful
light.
