Laurie Ann Smith Bodshaug, 65, of Orlando, passed away August 5, 2022 at her home in Orlando, Florida. She was born August 8th, 1956 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Donald and Dona Smith. She married Keith Bodshaug in 1980.

Surviving are her two sons, Kevin Bodshaug and his wife Megan along with their two boys Spencer and Paxton, and Kyle Bodshaug and his wife Jenn. Both sons reside in Orlando. Also surviving are her sister Sandra and brother Timothy.

Her father, mother and brother Thomas preceded her in death.

Laurie was an alumni of Kemper Hall in Kenosha, Wisconsin and Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  She was a longtime resident of Orlando, where she was a beloved nurse in the Florida healthcare system.

Known as 'Mimi' to those closest to her, she loved to spend time with her family, and especially her grandsons and actively participate in various online social organizations. She was a lover of cats and all things to do with family.

A time of gathering will be held on August 19th in Orlando at 4:30 pm at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, Lake Buena Vista, and a burial service will be held this fall in Wisconsin. Further information will be available through online means.
