LaVerne Griggs Scroggie, 80, on Jan. 1 ^st , 2023, went to be with our Lord and Savior. LaVerne was born and raised in Marion County and spent most of her time living there. She was a caring and compassionate person that touched the lives of many. She loved the lord and was deeply devoted to her faith. She also had a passion for gardening and would spend many hours tending to her flowers. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and generosity that will not be forgotten. She is survived by her daughter Tasha Humphries (Greg) her Sons Michael Scroggie and Bryan Scroggie (Megan) Grandchildren Matt & Andrew Humphries, Gwyndolyn & Neville Scroggie.

A celebration of life will be held at The Garden Worship Center (12740 S.E County HWY 484, Belleview, FL) at 11:00am Saturday, Jan. 14th, 2023.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Garden Worship Center or Samaritans Purse.
