Lawrence "Larry" Warner
Williams
September 12, 1957 – May 11, 2026
I am so sad to announce that Lawrence “Larry” Warner Williams, 68, of Port Orange, FL, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026 at home with his wife and family beside him.
Larry was born in Wiesbaden, Germany to Eleanore and Warner Williams on September 12, 1957. He grew up in Chicago and met his wife Karen (nee Brewer) Williams of more than 45 years while attending Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL
Larry graduated from Illinois Benedictine College in Naperville, IL with a B.S. in Economics and spent the next 35 years working in the Lawn and Tree Care Industry as a Franchise Field Representative for Spring-Green Lawn Care in Plainfield, IL and then the Manager of the John Deere Landscapes location in Jupiter, FL. He made many friends and thoroughly enjoyed sharing his industry knowledge and support with his franchisees and customers.
Larry was kind and always generous with his time. No one was a stranger. He loved spending time with his wife reading history, going to baseball games, planting stuff, walking on the beach, telling jokes and bowling. He always looked forward to playing golf with his brother Kendall. He loved working on house projects and gardening with his wife. He was so proud when they won the Yard of the Month or Yard of the Year award in the neighborhood.
Larry is survived by his wife, Karen Williams, his brother Kendall (Mary) Williams, his sister Claudia Fischer, his brother Scott Williams, his nephews Dan and Jim, his brothers-in-law Bob Brewer (Adrienne) and Ken Brewer (Janice) and nieces and nephews Holly (Sean), Katie (Bailey) and Jared and grand-nieces Kendall and Isla and grand-nephew Marek.
Larry is preceded in death by both his parents, Eleanore and Warner Williams and Karen’s parents Jean and Bob Brewer.
He was greatly loved and will be missed terribly. Per his wishes, the family will honor Larry’s memory privately, without a public service. He would be happy if you played a round of golf and toasted him at the 19th hole.
Sincere thanks to Assisting Hands, Halifax Hospice and Forever Active Physical Therapy for their caring, love and support.
