Lee R. Hale, 85, of Ocala passed away August 14, 2016.  Born in Lafayette, IN, he came to this area in 1997 from Burtonsville, MD.  He was Lutheran by faith and was a retired meat cutter for A&P Grocery.  Lee was a member of the Cherrywood community and participated in many of the activities there.  He especially enjoyed golf and dancing.  He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Connie; children, Connie Lee Lilley (Norman) of Boonsboro, MD, Ronald Gary Hale of Point of Rocks, MD, Robin Lou Downey (Don) of Centerville, MD and Deborah Lynn Geisz (Bradford) of Point of Rocks, MD; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  There are no local funeral services.  He will be interred at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation 954 E.
