Lee Schott, age 92, passed away on July 22, 2025, at Port Charlotte Rehab. He was born January 1, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio to Martin and Ernestine Schott. Lee graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in business. He was the owner of Alert Printing Company in Detroit and was also employed by Steinmart for 7 years.

Lee was a Detroit sports fan and enthusiastically cheered on his beloved Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions. He was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, art shows, concerts, dining out, visiting museums, and playing poker with his friends at Heritage Lakes Park Clubhouse. Lee treasured family gatherings and getting together with friends. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.

He will be missed by Brenda, his loving wife of 16 years, his children, Frederick Schott of Punta Gorda, Florida, Stephen Schott and Heidi Birzensky of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, Jeffrey Schott of Georgia married to Christine, 2 stepdaughters, 4 grandchildren, 4 step grandsons, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marlene Margolis.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at 11:00 am on July 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave., Punta Gorda. and a reception mmediately following at Heritage Lakes Park Clubhouse, 25635 Heritage Lake Blvd., Punta Gorda.
