Lee Ann Tinsley, 70, of Titusville, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026.
Born in San Diego, California, Lee was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Jacquelynn Tinsley. She graduated from Warren County High School in 1973 and later earned her degree from Radford College. Throughout her life, Lee was known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel like a friend. Those who knew her often remarked that she was so much like her mother, carrying on her kindness, generosity, and caring nature.
Lee was a faithful member of Indian River Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends in the Red Pants Club, sharing laughter and fellowship.
Lee found joy in the simple beauties of life. She had a special passion for growing and caring for orchids, nurturing each one with patience and love. She also treasured time at the beach, where she could sit quietly, watch the waves, and find peace in the beauty of the ocean. She was an animal lover whose compassionate heart extended to every creature she met.
Lee's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Stacey Schouten (Andrew Taylor); her cherished grandson, Oliver; her sister, Virginia Hoppe (Steve Hoppe), along with nephews Alex and Will; her brother, Robert Tinsley, Jr. (Kim Tinsley), and niece Margaret; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jacquelynn Tinsley; her brother, John Tinsley; and her husband, Mark Schouten.
A memorial service celebrating Lee's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Indian River Church, 1355 Cheney Highway, Titusville, Florida 32780.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the SPCA of Brevard in Lee's honor. Her love for animals and her compassionate spirit will continue to make a difference through the kindness of others.
Lee will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering faith, welcoming smile, and the love she shared so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
