Lela Bissonnette, age 70 died on January 1/2021 in Summerfield FL under Hospice care of Marion county.

Lela is survived by her husband Brian Bissonnette of Ocala, Daughter Renee Reppy of Ocala, Son Mark Dion of CT. Stepson Brian Bissonnette Jr. of NH , Stepson Scott Bissonnette of NY. 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister June Daugherty of CT and Aunt Betty Licata of CT.

Lela was born on Nov. 6 1950 in Killingly CT to parents Herbert and Mildred Chase. She graduated in 1969 from Plainfield High School in Plainfield CT.

Lela was a great and loving mother and grandmother, she married Brian in 1987 and lived in CT until 2003 when they moved to Jacksonville FL. and live until they retired in 2012 and settled down in Ocala.

Lela was a socialy active women who was deeply involved with her friends at Rolling Greens community during her retirement. She also enjoyed making jewelry , playing cards,gardening, golf, traveling when ever possible and most of all her love of collecting dragonfly collectibles.

In lieu of a funeral the family is planning to have a celebration of life at a later date with close friends .
