Lena Patanio Talley died peacefully on August 6, 2021 at the age of 75. Lena was born in Newark, New Jersey. The oldest child of Thomas and Aslee (Adams) Patanio. Lena  retired from the Family Medicine Practice of Dr James A. Carratt in Volusia County. After retirement Lena served in home health care, then retired to Titusville, Florida. Taking care of others was a passion of Lena's that continued throughout her beautiful life. Lena is survived by her children Darlene Haywood and Michael Talley (Amanda), Siblings Linda Cosby (Kevin), Jerry Patanio (Sherri), Joseph Patanio (Milly), Eileen Larkin (Jim), and Diane Patanio. She was also a proud grandmother to Keith(Sarah), Keriann, Kayla, Kaleb, Konnor, Kamdyn and Kyler, and a loving great grandmother to Zeke and Olivia. She was also the heart and soul for many nieces, nephews, adopted children & adopted grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her parents and siblings Mary Patanio and Peter Patanio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association or the A.S.P.C.A.
