LEONARD J. BULTEMA

July 10, 1945 – November 9, 2015

Leonard J. Bultema, age 70, of The Villages, Florida passed away peacefully November 9, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, MI, the son of John A. and Alberta (Scholtens) Bultema.   Len served as a private in the Army and lived his adult life in Grand Rapids, MI; Durham/Hillsborough, NC; Chicago/Homewood, IL, and Madison/Stoughton, WI.  He moved to The Villages, FL in 2014.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janice (Sportel) Bultema; daughter Kym (John) Cassidy and 2 grand-children of Grand Rapids, MI; sister Nancy (Don) Rosenstiel of Birmingham, AL; sister Pat (Craig) Apel of Spring Lake, MI; sister-in-law Carol (Doug) Hick of The Villages, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Hank and Henrietta (Kroeze) Sportel; and brother, John P. Bultema. No services are planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Hospice organization of your choice, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
