Leroy (Lee) J. Powell of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away on August 9, 2017.  Lee was born August 15, 1943 in Stamford, Ct to the late Robert Powell and Judith Robertino Powell.

Lee was raised and educated in Stamford, CT.  After high school Mr. Powell served in the United States Army.  Lee worked for Pitney Bowes until his retirement.  He was a life member of the Ponus Yacht Club in Stamford, CT and the Turtle Mound Club in NSB, FL.  Lee loved boating, kayaking, motorcycling and bike riding.  He enjoyed time with his family and friends.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Henrietta "Cissie" Powell and his children, Scott Powell of Port Chester, NY and Kellie Powell Silvestro and her husband Joseph of South Salem, NY.  Lee was the proud and loving grandfather of Joseph, Zachary, Tyler, James and Greyson and his sister Diane Campbell of Hudson, FL.
