Leslie Ann Altmann, 74, went home to join our Lord on July 26, 2024.

She is survived by her life partner, John Schrock; her brother, Jeff Brown; her daughter, Brooke (Trey) Whitman; her son, Josh (Brandi) Altmann; her bonus children, Matt (Jackie) Schrock, and Julie (James) Ryan; her grandchildren, Liam, Cohen, Luke, Colt, Athenia, Kloee, Olivia, Ivory; and her furry baby, JoLe.

Leslie was a teacher and coach for over 40 years at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  She was adored by her students, with many considering her a "second mom".  She was known for her bright smile, her compassion, and always being a safe space for students.

Leslie enjoyed many travel adventures with John.  They visited Las Vegas to see Celine Dion, Hawaii, and toured Civil War battlefields.  She cherished her seasons with John at their second residency in Fort Myers, Florida, and trips to the family home at Cedar Lake in Howe, Indiana.

Her shining personality and calm, soothing demeanor will be greatly missed by all those who love her and have had the privilege of being a part of her life.
