Leslie Arthur "Art" Maltby, Jr. passed away on September 30, 2021, at home, in the loving presence of his two daughters, Nancy & Ginny.

Art was born in Corning, New York on March 10, 1931.  He spent his younger years in Corning and Troy, NY and moved to Miami in 1945. Art met his future bride, Ann, at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Miami, Florida, where the two were a part of the Young People's Service League.  They both attended Miami Senior High and Art graduated in 1949.  Art and Ann were married on June 5, 1953 and he graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in February 1954.  Art was proud of his broad career experiences in the printing, purchasing, construction, and appraisal businesses.  He was respected and loved for his devotion to his wife, family, and faith.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Louise Totty Maltby and Leslie Arthur Maltby, Sr., his son, the Rev. L. Howard Maltby, and his wife, Emily Ann Maltby.  He is survived by his daughter, Nancy and her husband, Stuart, his daughter, Virginia "Ginny" and her husband, Don, his granddaughter, Lauren, his grandson, Jason and his fiancée, Sarah, his sister, Alice and her husband, Earl, his brother, Jim and his wife Pam, and many nieces and nephews.

The Requiem Mass for Art and Ann, both lifelong and faithful Episcopalians, will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Eustis, Florida. They will be interred at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Lexington, South Carolina, near their son, Howard.
