Lewis Clinton Drake, age 79, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on May 27, 2024. Born on March 18, 1945, in Lawrence, Michigan, to James Lewis Drake and Mary Elizabeth Ray, Lewis lived a fulfilling and active life dedicated to his family and community.

Lewis was a dedicated member of the Royal Highlands Freshman Club and Midwest Club, and he enjoyed golfing, swimming, and walking.

Lewis is survived by his beloved wife, Paulette (Hibschman) Drake of Leesburg, Florida; his sons, Dustin D. Drake of Scherville, Indiana, and Chad J. Drake of Benton Harbor, Michigan; and his stepchildren, Pamela D. Adams of Lady Lake, Florida, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) A. Adams of Woodstock, Georgia. He was a cherished grandfather to Zachary S. Adams of Atlanta, Georgia, Alexander J. Adams of Woodstock, Georgia, and Bryce A. Adams of Woodstock, Georgia, and a loving grandfather to Desiree Drake of Coloma, Michigan.

He is also survived by his brothers, James (Kay) Drake of Paw Paw, Michigan, and Gerald (Mary) Drake of Bangor, Michigan; and his sisters, Joyce Duncan of Clermont, Florida, and MaryJane (Skip) Gwyer of Stevensvill, Michigan.

Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His dedication to his family and his community will be remembered and cherished forever.

Celebration of Life to be held at Heritage Community Church, 509 Berckman St., Fruitland Park, Florida on Monday, June 17th at 11:00am.
