Obituary

After a courageous battle with cancer, LiHung (Jenny) Lee Catron died on October 31,2015 at home in New Smyrna Beach, FL at the age of 56. She leaves behind her loving husband of 27 years Robert (Bob) Catron.

LiHung was born on January 19, 1959 in Keelung, Taiwan, ROC, to father Ching Chi Lee and mother Sung Yuen Lee. She grew up in a large, loving family with four sisters. In college, she majored in business and art. She married Col. Robert Catron US Army (ret) in 1987 and became an American citizen. She taught cooking at Daytona Beach Community College, graduated from the University of South Florida with a MFA degree in 2005 and enjoyed a position as an Adjunct Professor of Art at Stetson University teaching and sharing arts with many talented students and colleagues. She was published in Clay Times and Ceramic Monthly magazines. At home LiHung pursued her love for painting, sculpture, ceramics, oriental gardening and cooking.

LiHung was a talented artist with a love for travel, art, and gourmet food. She masterfully prepared fantastic meals, hosted with beauty, grace and charm, cared deeply, and put others before herself. Her selfless and generous nature will always be remembered by those closest to her; such a joy to know and love.

LiHung is survived by her husband Robert (Bob); her mother Sung Yuen; her sisters Angela Lee, Genie Chang, Sherry Lee, Connie Mou, and their children; her husband's children, Renee, Robyn, Beau, and their children. She is predeceased by father Ching-Chi Lee.
