Lillian A. Craig, 101, of Longwood, Florida, passed away on May 3, 2015 at Longwood Health Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Benton Harbor, MI. Miss Lillian was a dedicated Mother, a good friend to all who knew her, and a loving servant of the Lord. She was employed at Heath Company for 25 years. She was a longtime member of Napier Parkview Baptist Church, where she was active in Ladies Missionary Society. She was raised on a farm and enjoyed a lifelong hobby of gardening. Upon retirement, she moved to Birmingham, AL to be near family. She spent the last three years of her life in Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amandus and Caroline Achterberg, nine brothers and sisters, husbands Guy Keith and Howard Craig. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Almquist (Roger) and Joanne Nelson (John), (4) grandchildren, Marc Almquist (Shannon), Nick Almquist (Tonya), Nicole Davis Carr (Chris), and Brian S. Davis Jr. (Kasey), (12) great grandchildren and a niece, Janice Sundheim.A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Benton Harbor, MI. Memorial contributions can be made on her behalf to Longwood Health Care and Rehab Center.
