Linda Anne Abbott, 77, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026. Linda was born on July 15, 1949 in Rochester, NY. She graduated as Salutatorian of Honeoye Falls High School, Class of 1967. Linda went on to Mary Washington College in Virginia and after only two years of undergraduate work was accepted to Georgetown Dental School, graduating as one of the youngest dentists in the country. After practicing dentistry in Falls Church, VA, Linda moved to southern California to assist with the family commercial laundry business.

In 1991, Linda moved once again, in search of a tropical lifestyle for her family. She found her beloved beach house in Wilbur by the Sea, FL. There, she raised her two children and took on a variety of business endeavors throughout the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, home improvement projects, and decorating for the holidays. Linda was also an avid cruiser and travel enthusiast.

Linda is survived by her son, Justin R. Abbott; daughter, Jennifer E. Ray; son-in-law, Gregory Ray; grandson, Armando Gaitan III; granddaughter Ava E. Gaitan; two brothers Paul Amorese (Amy) of Gilbert, AZ and James Amorese (Maria) of Scottsdale, AZ; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony J Amorese and Katherine Desmann Amorese of Scottsdale, AZ as well as her brother Gary Amorese of Honeoye Falls, NY.
