Linda Mae Long November 16, 1947 – July 17, 2025 Linda Mae Long, 77, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025. She was a fun-spirited, kind, and loving woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Linda retired from Leisure Bay after many dedicated years of work. She enjoyed spending time with the "Rat Pack," her cherished friends and family, and especially loved cruising with her beloved husband. At home, she shared a special bond with her misunderstood but much-loved cat, Maggie Mae. She is survived by her children, Shelly (Mike), Amy, and Scott; grandchildren, Selena (Codye), Marshall (Lori), Kylie, and Caden; and great-grandchildren, Ariya, Mayson, Jaxson, Leon, and Ahlias. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Margaret "Michel" Crawford; her sister, Patricia "Patti" Goedde; and her husband, Calvin Joe Long. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Celebration Baptist Church of Leesburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hoffmayer Animal Rescue or your local no-kill shelter in Linda's memory.
