Linda Louise Venzen Ellis-Maharaj was born on August 14, 1950 in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.  She was the oldest daughter of Oswald  Graciano Venzen and the late Alice Anesta Matthias Venzen.  Linda fell asleep in death on July 11th 2011 at 8:20 pm. She grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands where she attended elementary and high school.  She graduated in 1969 from Charlotte Amalie High School.  She moved to New York in 1973 and lived there for many years, working at the Bell South Telephone Company.  She was married to Rupert Ellis in St. Thomas on June 19, 1988.  They had two handsome boys Jason and Jermaine Ellis.  After her husband died, she moved to Orlando, FL with her boys. Linda was employed with Walt Disney World for 16 years, where she brought joy and happiness to many families.  Her smile was magnetic, so much so that she was used as the poster girl for 'Eyes and Ears Magazine' for Walt Disney World.  She was a devoted and dedicated worker and we know she will be greatly missed by many. She met her present sweetheart, Brian, 7 years ago by the will of God.  They were married on February 3, 2006 and Brian has been her soul mate and a positive strength in her life.  He has taken care of her, loved her and nursed her for the past several months.  She had so much love for him. Linda was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 31, 2010 at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL.  She was a source of joy to many and her faithful life course will continue to be an encouragement to her Christian Brothers and Sisters. Linda leaves her husband Brian Maharaj, her father Oswald Venzen Sr., sons Jason, Jermaine and Reyan, daughters Mariam, Rehana, Seheya, grandsons Jadarien and Javon, granddaughters Yasmin, Reannah, Narissa, daughter-n-laws Jessica and Lorrenza, sisters Laura, Lisa, Yvonne and brothers Oswald, Jr., Oswain, Austin, Angel, many aunts and uncles in the New York and US Virgin Islands.  She had so many friends and family, too many to mention.  A Life Celebration is planned for Friday July 15, 2011 at 11:30 am at The Casa Feliz in Winter Park; 656 North Park Avenue, Winter Park, Fl. 32789 Visitation and Gathering will be from 10:0am until 11:30 am at The Casa Feliz.
