Linda Cunningham Pepe, 73, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2019. Linda is survived by her loving husband,
John Peter Pepe.
Born in Albany , New York, Linda was the daughter of the late Raymond Ardel Cunningham and Rita Olmstead Cunningham. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Ardel Cunningham Jr., brother in-law Joseph Pepe, and nephew Michael Skadra. She is further survived by her 2 brother in-laws Robert Pepe, and Mario Pepe, and sister in-law Marie Pepe Skadra.
Linda graduated from Colonie Central High School and then attended Oneonta State University while living in Albany ,NY Linda was employed with the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. She and John moved to California in 1975. Linda was CA licensed real estate agent and a honorary member of the Million Dollar Club. She then moved on and became a California Certified Medical transcriptionist for ten years.
Linda was a very talented crafter and enjoyed making hand made gifts which family members cherish to this day.
Linda and John retired to Del Webb Golf & Country Club in 2001. She enjoyed all the activities of retirement from dancing to pickle ball,dominoes to bingo. Linda was always up for the competition. She and John also travelled extensively, visiting every nation park in California … across Europe, to Ireland, to Mexico, and across the United States in a very large RV with a very large German Shepard, Rusty, in tow. However, Linda's favorite was their many trips to Las Vegas and Biloxi, MS. When it came to gambling Linda's middle name was "Irish Luck".
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday February 6, 2019 at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic church in Summerfield, Fl. Please visit www.baldwincremation.com for online condolences.
