Linda Kay Rimbenieks, age 74, passed away on April 5th, 2025, in Port Orange, FL.
Linda Kay is survived by her mother Joyce Smith, daughters Michelle (Greg) Palm, Heather (Mike) Rubin, grandchildren Chance (Katie) Palm, Camryn (Chase) Turan, Travis Vastell, great grandchildren Julian, Madelyn, Evelyn, brother Kenneth Barnett, stepbrother Richard Smith, stepsisters Marsha Davis and Carol McGraw, along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins and numerous friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ints Rimbenieks and brother Harold Barnett.
Linda Kay was born on November 15, 1950. She graduated high school from Forest Lake Academy in Forest City, FL. She married Ints on July 20, 1969, until his death February 2 nd , 2019. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Linda was a dedicated military wife for twenty-five years. She loved the U.S. Air Force, football ALABAMA ROLL TIDE, and especially her bowling family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kindhearted sweet soul who would greet you with the biggest smile, until she got behind the wheel and road rage ensued (daily). Her family will very much miss her cooking and willingness to help others.
A celebration is scheduled for 11am, on Friday April 11, 2025, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, located at, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda's life. Flowers can be sent to the above address, and donations can be made to your choice of charity in Linda's name.
