Linda Green, age 81, Estero, Florida passed away September 18, 2026.  She was born in Barberton, Ohio, to Milton M. Sass and Bertha (Bertie) G. Sass, of blessed memory.  Linda graduated from Buchtel High School, Akron, Ohio (1962) and Miami University, Oxford, Ohio (1966).  She met her husband, Stanley Green, while attending Miami.  After graduating from college, she pursued a career as a special education teacher. 

Linda was a passionate golfer and very active in her golfing community.  Among her many golfing accomplishments were three holes-in one.  

She is survived by her husband of 60 years and her sons, Dr. Jeffrey Green (Kathy) of Glen Allen, VA, and Dr. Daniel Green (Montie Miller) of Tampa, Florida.  Linda was a beloved grandmother to Jordan Green and Max Green.  In addition, she was dearly loved by her siblings, Marilyn Sass-Lehrer (Sande Lehrer) and Brian Sass (Judy Subotin), and several nieces and nephews.
