Lindsey Jannelle Mundy, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left this world to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on June 29th, 2026. Born on July 7th, 1983, in Logansport, Indiana, Lindsey brought light and love to all those around her throughout her 42 years of life.
Lindsey was the cherished daughter of Kevin L. and Brenda Mundy. She is survived by her parents who reside in Florida, loving sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Bryant Wells, and her adored nieces, Haylee, Ashlynn, and Alyssa Jade Wells, all residing in North Carolina. Her family circle extended to many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, who were blessed by her presence and warmth she shared.
Lindsey's early years were spent in Logansport, Indiana, where she graduated from Caston School Corporation. After moving to Lehigh Acres, Florida in 2012, she furthered her education by taking classes at Keiser University. Lindsey's career was marked by her dedication to nurturing and caring for others. She worked in childcare and later found her calling in lighting and sound at her church, where she was deeply involved in various committees and activities.
Her life was a testament to kindness and generosity, always seeking ways to uplift and bless others. Lindsey cherished her time spent supporting her nieces at their many volleyball games, traveling any distance to be their biggest cheerleader from the bleachers. Cruising with her friends brought immense joy, while her lifelong love for the beach was a constant thread in her life, many times beautifully shared with her Uncle Wes. They relished their seaside adventures and playful stops at the amusement park.
Lindsey's legacy of giving lives on. Through her choice to be an organ donor with Lifelink, she shared the ultimate gift of life with others. A service to celebrate Lindsey's life will be held on July 25th, 2026, at 11 AM at Rise Church, located at 50 Bell Blvd, Lehigh Acres, Florida 33936. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life beautifully lived and deeply loved.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Lehigh Acres Fire Responders for their swift and compassionate actions, as well as the Gulf Coast Trauma Hospital ICU team for their dedicated care.
To honor Lindsey's memory and her love for her church family, please consider making a donation to Rise Church Expansion Program in lieu of flowers. Her spirit of generosity continues to inspire all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
