IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linford "Lin"
Duncan Curtis
April 25, 1944 – February 2, 2025
Linford "Lin" D. Curtis, 80, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, with his loving husband, Glen Ferguson, by his side.
Born in South Carolina in April 1944 to Robert and Sally Curtis, Lin was a beacon of joy, kindness, and light to all who knew him. His warm, welcoming nature and infectious personality made him a friend to everyone he met.
Throughout his life, Lin was deeply drawn to the metaphysical teachings of the world. He devoted much of his time exploring the mysteries of the universe, seeking knowledge and wisdom that transcended the physical realm. His spiritual curiosity was a defining part of who he was, and it deeply influenced his perspective on life, love, and the world around him.
Lin worked as an accountant in the automotive industry and, at one point, was the proud owner of an auto parts store. His professional life was marked by dedication, integrity, and a work ethic that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Sally, and his siblings. Lin is survived by his beloved husband of 10 years, Glen Ferguson, with whom he shared an extraordinary partnership of 58 years. Their love was a remarkable journey of devotion, support, and deep connection that touched the hearts of all who knew them. Glen's love for Lin was a constant, unwavering presence in Lin's life, and their bond was a testament to the strength of love, commitment, and understanding.
In addition to Glen, Lin is survived by four nieces, two nephews, and his cherished dog, Kena Fay. Kena, a rescue dog, shared a special bond with Lin, and the love between them was a beautiful reflection of Len's caring spirit.
Lin's passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of love, joy, and spiritual curiosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
A Celebration of Lin's life will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 22, 2025, with Visitation starting at 12:00PM, and will be held at Baldwin Brothers Ormond Beach Chapel, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Please feel free to dress casually for the Celebration, as it was the Lin's wish for us to do so.
