IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa Marie
Dillaman
March 15, 1962 – March 7, 2025
On March 15, 1962, Lisa Marie entered this world 7 minutes prior to her twin sister Tina Louise. It was at the time of her birth that she entered the first fight of her life.
She was so small 4 pounds and was in an incubator for 3 weeks. But, already being a fighter she was able to thrive and finally go home and reunite with her twin.
Although she was now healthy and thriving she experienced health issues In kindergarten and was in the hospital several times. Due to her extended absence the school would not advance her to the next grade. Taking away the opportunity of a celebration of their graduating together.
She was always a Natural athlete who excelled at any competitive sports. Softball was her favorite and she was an amazing Shortstop. She won speed throwing contests and was nominated for a softball scholarship. She loved and excelled at golfing and bowling. Played saxo- phone, many instruments and had natural artistic abilities.
No matter what she did she gave it her best and her career life was no different. She started working at a young age and had outstanding skills and work ethic, which led to many managerial positions through her career. One of the hardest and devastating times she had to face was when she realized she was no longer able to do her job anymore @ Aerospace Technologies Group in Boca Raton, FL. She loved working and took pride in the places she worked and the contribution she made to the success of those companies.
Shortly after a near fatal car accident in 2016, she started experiencing immune health issues that caused extreme chronic pain and effects that drastically affected her quality of life. More and more immune dis- orders arose throughout these past 9 years, each one more painful and debilitating.
What started out with Diabetes quickly lead to Hashimoto, Sjögrens, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sarcoidosis and Raynaud Syndrome. Then most recently Lymphoma, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pericardial and Pleural Effusion. Having just one of these could be too much for a person and she had them all and maybe more not yet diagnosed, But, she never complained.
But, she refused to not do everything she could to help her family and friends with whatever tasks they were doing , no matter how huge and knowing she would have to pay for it with pain for days after.
She Enjoyed the ocean, beaches, sail boats, birds, butter- flies & dragon flies. She appreciated the beauty and innocence of all animals and living creatures big and small (except she feared rep- tiles). She even helped adopt a manatee after visiting them and seeing their scars. Knowing her and her caring heart, she probably helped adopt more animals through the years than we even know about. Always trying to help the innocent and helpless in need. Being the oldest (even though the smallest sib- ling)she always felt the need to take on the role of Protec- tor.
Even though she was in extreme pain and couldn't do the things she once did, she developed a strong empathy for others who were sick or hurting. Offering words of encouragement and putting their pain before hers.
She Protected and Loved with her whole being. Her Family was the most important thing in her life, especially her Mother. She also loved and adored her parents cats KiKi and Tabitha… who she brought into their house because they needed a home. It's of some comfort knowing that she is now holding her little poodle Dolly again, whom she missed dearly.
Lisa's mother and twin sister were by her side followed by a private service.
The family plans a memorial celebration in Lisa's honor at a later date.
She is mourned and survived by her parents Roger & Elaine (Barco) Dillaman and two sisters Tina Chambley and JoAnne (Timothy) Styborski. Maternal Aunt Frances (Barco) Wood, Maternal Uncles James Barco and Joseph (Aida) Barco. 1st cousins: Richard (Beverly)Wood, Jason (Sarah) Barco, Brook Ann Barco, Jacqueline Barco, Brian Dillaman, Kevin (Delores) Dillaman, Jody Dillaman and very special friend Joe Biz- zarro and many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded and welcomed into the heavens above by maternal grandparents, James and Anne (Wjosiat) Barco, paternal grandparents Edwin and Eleanor (Kimple) Dillaman and many cousins and friends.
Forever in our thoughts and hearts.
