Lisa Marie Gates was born on November 21, 1966 in Ironton, Ohio to Maymie Jane Spillman and Roy Allen Blevins. She attended Vanguard High School from 1980-1983. She Married her soulmate, Jarrod Lewis Gates on April 22, 1989. Lisa worked at Quincy's of Ocala, Walmart, and Crupi's Farm alongside her husband, until she became a stay at home Mom.

Lisa mostly enjoyed doing interior decorating, and arts and crafts. She was everyone's go-to for planning events and special occasions. She enjoyed listening to live music and dancing with her husband and friends. Lisa loved her family more than anything. They spent most of their free time going woods riding, swimming, boating and fishing. She would do anything she could to help anyone whether she knew them or not.

Lisa is survived by her children, Brittany Hendrix (Tony), Lindsey Cyr (Malcolm) and Roy Gates, her mother, Maymie Spillman (step-father Roger), her sister Othabelle Fleming (Johnnie), her grandchildren Alisia Hendrix, Tinsley Hendrix, Eliana Hendrix, Malcolm Cyr Jr, Audra Cyr, Nolan Cyr and baby boy Cyr #4, her nieces Shellie Phillips (Gomer), Heather Fincher, Kiersten Eiseman, Karly Colpoys, Stephanie Fulford, nephews Travis Fincher, Brandon Fulford (Zoey), and J.R. Maynard, her aunt Barbara Simmons (Rob), Sister in Law, Leah (John) Foley,  and her many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Allen Blevins, and her sisters, Teresa Ann Blevins, and Melissa Jane Fulford.

Lisa's celebration of life will be held February 22nd, 2025 @ 1:00pm at Baldwin Brother's 954 E Silver Springs BLVD BLDG #200 Ocala, FL 34470. Following the service we will have food and refreshments at the Anthony Women's Club 2120 NE 95th St. Anthony, FL 32617.
