Lloyd Glen Carlson, age 72, passed away peacefully on January 23rd in the comfort of his own home with loved ones by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Grace Carlson. He is survived by two children, Missy Keller (Dustin), of Lindstrom, MN, and Michael Carlson (Nicolle), of Thief River Falls, MN, six grandchildren, Cody Swenson, Tabor and Emma Keller, Zachary Carlson, Ariella Kingbird, Hunter Connolly, two sisters, Sharon (Don) Noel, Marie (Doug) Kroulik, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Glen was a highly skilled heavy equipment operator. He worked on numerous major projects spanning many locations in various states and countries. In his later years, he worked locally operating a Bobcat business and thoroughly enjoyed the socialization that came from cutting and selling firewood.

Glen was an amazingly talented musician. He started playing drums in a band at the age of 15. His sisters fondly recall a drum set being part of the living room decor. He didn't read music, but mastered the guitar and piano. He played by ear and added all kinds of riffs to the delight of diverse audiences for 50 years. A private service with immediate family was held on January 28, 2025.
