Lloyd M. (Pete) Peterman 88, of Cape Coral, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on

September 15, 2023 after a long illness.  He was born in 1934 to George R. and Lucille

Peterman in Delaware.

Pete proudly served in the United Sates Army.  He began the service to our country in 1960

and retired after more than 28 years serving the last 10 years as an Army Recruiter.

Pete was married to Frances Peterman for 43 years.  He loved to cook, play cards and any

games that he would win.  He also enjoyed fishing and was known as the "mayor of the

neighborhood".  He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Gerald, five brothers and three sisters.

His survivors include his wife, Frances of Cape Coral, Fl., his daughter Glenda Thompson (Jon)

of St. Augustine, Fl.; his son Glenn Peterman (Pam) of Rockledge, Fl., and his step daughter

Tonya Tardif (Brian) of Port St. Lucie, FL., two brothers, one sister, three grandchildren and two

great grandchildren.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside funeral service at the

Sarasota National Veterans Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL  34241 on Wednesday, September 27, 2023@ 2:00 PM.
