Lois Ann Jefferies, 89, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida died Tuesday May 3, 2016 at her residence.  She was born July 12, 1926 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Peter Thomas and Anna Catherine (nee Schabelski) Fitzsimmons.  She attended college for two years and had worked as a paralegal, secretary and Dean of Students.  She is survived by five daughters:  Kathleen Pari of New Smyrna Beach, FL;  Patricia Doyle of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Mary Kay Chesna of Venice, FL; Joan Jefferies of Edgewater, FL; Noreen Soeth of Burlington, WI:  Also survived by one son:  Mark Jefferies of St. Louis, MO and by a sister in law Carol Jefferies Considine of Chicago, IL and by 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
