Lois Jean Van Doren, 80, New Smyrna Beach FL died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Hospice of Volusia Edgewater Care Center. Lois was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She came to this area in 1980 from Sanford, Maine. For many years Lois enjoyed playing golf at New Smyrna Beach Municipal Golf Course and volunteered her time with Bert Fish Medical Center Auxiliary and Brannon Public Library. She was a Navy Wave. Lois leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 59 years Harry, son Michael of New Smyrna Beach, Jeffrey of Walpole, MA, Mark of La Jolla, CA, Richard of Mechanicsville, PA and two grandchildren Ian and Vanessa. She was preceded in death by a son Robin E Van Doren in 1981.
