The world lost a true craftsman today.  Lonnie Douglas Dossett died of natural causes.  He was born in Kentucky and moved to Lockhart, FLorida when he was six.  His dad worked with car dealerships his whole life and Lon followed him with a love of wheels with motors.  His first car was a motorcyle. He and schooling didn't agree and he left as soon as he could.  Working with his hands was his passion – wood, metal, fiberglass, paint, paper, cloth, or leather.  Being a genius at figuring out how things worked lasted throughout his life.  In later years, his passion included antique toy repair and collection.  Many people have examples of his craftsmanship with the toys and boxes.  An intuitive sense of humor, ready smile and laughter have endeared him to us all.  He is survived by loving cousins and wife Linnie Dossett.
