Lonnie Jay's Obituary

Lonnie "LJ" Dale Jay  was born Aug. 5, 1947 in San Antonio Tx. He passed away June 20, 2022 in his home in Inverness Florida.
LJ spent most of his life in New England and especially loved NH. He spent his life as a hard working man. He was a truck driver for Shell Oil. He owned his own towing business for several years. He also worked on the power lines for Florida Energy. Lj was very proud to serve in the US Navy where he got his training in electrical engineering.
He will be dearly missed by his loving partner of 14.5 years Mary Chandler of Inverness Florida.
He is survived by his children; daughter Tammy Romdeau , Bedford, MA and son  Thomas Jay , Marlboro, MA, two beautiful grandchildren; Ashley Noticchoni, Andover,  MA and Victoria Noticchoni, Bedford, MA,
three sisters: Lynda Jay of San Antonio, TX, Francine Cardoshinsky  Embrey of Stockdale, TX,  and Judy Johnston of Mathis, TX,
two brothers: Vincent Cardoshinsky and his wife Julie of Kerrville, TX and Edward Cardoshinski of Corpus Christi, TX.
LJ had many extended family members on Mary Chandler's side that loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by  his father and mother, Joe Melton Jay and Verga Calder Jay and also a brother Tommy Joel Jay.
LJ valued the friendships of many and was especially close with Gene and Stephany Forster of Pearland, TX, and Jessie Ruth White of Sinton, TX.
Services will be held at Kilkenny Cemetery in Jefferson, NH on Aug. 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
He will be dearly missed and loved by many friends and family. He will live in our hearts forever.
Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society in Timber Ridge is honored to assist with final arrangements.
