Loretta Faye Retzler, resident of the Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday February, 25 2019 at 3:50pm at Conerstone Hospice Center in the Villages. She was 82.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Retzler and her sons Michael Retzler, wife Nadeen of Loxahatchee, Florida , Donald Retzler, wife Marta of Stuart, Florida and Patrick Retzler, wife Kim of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. As well as seven grandchildren, Heather (Retzler) Morales, James Retzler, Eric Retzler, Bradley Storck, Taylor Storck, Zachary Retzler and Tyler Retzler and three great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Felipe and Creek. Along with multiple cousins, Erline Likens of Dunellon, Florida, Barbara Thomas of Coppell, Texas, Art Fleming of Spokane, Washington,  Connie Fink of Indianapolis, Indiana, Betty Lou Hauber of Carrollton, Ohio, Kathryn Carter Soll of Pacific Palisades, California, Ediie Carter of Portland, Oregon and Sally Windsor of Knightstown, Indiana.

She was a true Florida native, born and raised.  She loved being involved! It kept her young. She was a member of the Village Cheerleaders, The Red Hat Ladies and The Florida Club. She loved playing Bunko and card games, as well as Mahjong. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family and doing crafts.

Loretta was a kind and beautiful soul. She had a huge heart and always went above and beyond to do whatever she could to help her friends and family. She adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog, Maddie.

Services will be at St. Timothy's Catholic Church at 8:30am on Saturday, March 9, 2019. The address is  1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, Florida 32159 (352-753-0989), reception to follow.
