Lorraine J. Anderson, 98, Leesburg, Florida, passed away on June 25, 2023, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.  Lorraine was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on May 27, 1925 to Parents Edward Vincent Jabkowsky and Anna Viola (Fisher) Jabkowsky.

Lorraine graduated from Allentown High School in 1943, and later met her husband Milton R. Anderson where she lived with him in Memphis, TN until 2019.  She worked with Milton as the Administrator of their Automobile Service Company at Anderson's Service and enjoyed being a housewife.  Lorraine was passionate about supporting St. Jude's Research in Memphis and caring for animals by supporting the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).  When she wasn't busy working or care giving, she was becoming a lifetime dancer with the Greater Memphis Square & Round Dance Association.

Lorraine is preceded by her loving spouse of 71 years, Milton R. Anderson, and her parents, Edward and Anna Jabkowsky.  She is survived by her two sons, Andrew Anderson of San Diego, CA , and Neal Anderson of Leesburg, FL, four grandchildren, Wendy Anderson of Santa Cruz, CA, Andrea Gluckman of Pittsford, NY, Ashley Balasewitz of Apopka, FL, and Neal Anderson of Tavares, FL as well as her Niece Penny Carrol of Windsor, GA and Nephew Larry Anderson of Memphis, TN and several  great-grandchildren.

Lorraine will be interred at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in a private ceremony at the discretion of the family.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to St. Jude's Children's Research or the ASPCA in her name.
