Louise "Annett" (McClain) Gutman, 77, of Christmas, FL, passed away at home on September 8, 2024, with her beloved husband, Mike, by her side. Annett was a cherished member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mims, FL, and was known as a faithful wife, wonderful mother, devoted sister, and a friend to all.

Born to Ross and Dollie McClain in Austin, MN, Annett was the fifth of six children and the only girl. Growing up with five brothers made her resilient and strong.

She met the love of her life, Michael Hugh Gutman, at the age of 12 over a shared bowl of ice cream. They married on July 29, 1963, and have celebrated 61 years of marriage. Together, they raised five children: Timothy (+Cathie) Gutman, Cathie (+Michael) Wilson, Gina (+Thomas) Gibson, Bradley (+Ruhonney) Gutman, and Joshua (+Ashton) Gutman. They were blessed with 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Annett dedicated many years to being a homemaker and worked alongside her husband Mike at McMan Auto Service, the vehicle repair business they founded in Titusville, FL.

Annett was a fierce woman of faith. She was full of life, always ready to lend a listening ear, and had a passion for painting and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Dollie McClain; her brothers, Ronnie, Johnny, and Stanley McClain; and her grandson, Marcus Gretzinger.

The funeral mass, followed by a celebration of life reception, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, beginning at 11:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church – 2309 Holder Road, Mims, Florida 32754.
