Lucia Capuano, 103, passed away April 10, 2020, at Sunshine Love Assisted Living, in Cape Coral, FL. Born March 26, 1917, in Hartford, CT., she was the daughter of Anton Liebl and Theresa Hetzel. Lucia danced as a ballerina through early adulthood and later volunteered at the Cape Coral Hospital Thrift Store. She loved to travel and visited many countries throughout Europe and the Far East. She was predeceased by Sam Capuano, her husband of 63 years. Surviving are her daughters Marlane Dechene of North Fort Myers, FL., and Marcia Capuano of Agawam, MA., son Bruce (Lynn) Capuano of Fishkill, NY., grandson Chris Capuano of Middletown, CT., granddaughter Jennifer Thomas of Fayetteville, NC., grandsons Justin Capuano of Port Washington, NY., and Matthew Dechene of Cape Coral, FL., and niece Sally Ann Tanasi of East Hartford, CT. as well as seven great grandchildren.
