Lucille M. Zeiss, 91, of Inverness, Florida, went to be with the Lord Jesus on February 14, 2025. She was born in Ocala, Florida, on May 24, 1933, to Charles Robert Johnson and Cleo Mae Maund. In 1949, she married Winston Denon Seiler and had 3 children: Pamela, Angela, and Daryl. On December 21, 1962, she remarried to Frederick R. Zeiss.

Lucille worked at a real estate office showing property, taught elementary school children with learning disabilities, and was a licensed hairdresser. She also volunteered at a Suicide Prevention Hotline. She spent most of her life as a housewife, caring for her husband, children, and maintaining their home. She donated to Christian organizations who furthered the Kingdom. She was an artist and an exceptional cook. She often shared her experience of having coffee with Billy Graham.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: Pamela Sellman (children: David, Daniel, Lisa), Angela Morton (children: Sam, Mary), and Daryl Zeiss (children: Joseph, Alice, Timothy, Asa, Mathew, Gwendolyn, and Jared). She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Zeiss, her brothers Charles Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Bobbie Johson, Frank Johnson, and her sister Louise Cantrell.

Lucille loved Jesus and babies. She was a very giving person with both time and resources. She was strong and very resilient; with every hardship she faced, she rallied and became stronger from it. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
