Lucy Hoose, 46, daughter to the late Robert Hoose and Linda Parrinello of Ocala Fl, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2024. A long time Ocala FL resident, Lucy attended FD Roosevelt High School, class of 1995, in Hyde Park NY, where she called home, until she moved to Ocala at 21. Lucy was a natural born caregiver, which started with babysitting when she was a teenager, obtaining a Certified Nurses Aide designation in High School, and then making a lifelong career in nursing homes, most recently as Human Resource Director at Serenades Assisted Living Facility in the Villages, FL, where she has worked for the past 10+ years. Lucy's memory will be cherished by her children; Briyanna Poole (Ocala FL), Camryn Hoose (Ocala FL), her 2 year old grandson; Jaxon, her identical twin sister; Lisa Hoose (Portsmouth RI), her sister; Julie Lobotsky (Poughkeepsie NY), her brothers; Eric Hoose (Apex NC) and Kelly Hoose (Leominster Ma), her step father; Emanuel Parrinello (Ocala FL), her boyfriend; Ray Stanley, his children and grandkids who referred to Lucy as "Granny"- especially Kinsley who Lucy was raising like her own. Lucy was blessed with many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and coworkers that she would give the shirt off her back for. When Lucy wasn't working, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, cooking, baking, and watching reality TV.

Services for Lucy will February 9th beginning at her job Serenades by Sonata at 1pm with a celebration of life followed by a viewing from 5pm-7pm at Baldwin Brothers followed by a gathering at Briyanna's house.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  There will be food and refreshments at Briyanna's … BYOB.  Anyone that wants to bring something feel free to reach out to Briyanna.
