Luz Eneida Del Valle Fontánez ("Neyda")

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luz Eneida Del Valle Fontánez, affectionately known as Neyda, who passed away at the age of 71.

Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, Neyda lived a life defined by love, kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. As a devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Her greatest happiness came from bringing her family together and making everyone feel welcomed.

Neyda had a special gift for cooking, and her kitchen was the heart of the home. She was especially known for her delicious bacalaitos, a family favorite that everyone requested whenever they gathered. Preparing meals for her loved ones was one of the many ways she expressed her love, and those moments shared around her table became treasured memories that will live on for generations.

She shared a loving life with her devoted husband, Pedro Burgos, and together they built a family founded on love, respect, and togetherness. She was a loving mother to Pedro Burgos ("Pete"), Alberto Burgos, and Roberto Burgos and his wife, Charlene. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Roberto, Naylene, Ahnaya, Jayden, Nathaniel, Amilya, and Averyana, and a cherished great-grandmother to Reynaliz, Kingston, Rowan, Nolan, and Sebastian.

Neyda will be remembered for her gentle heart, her kindness, her generosity, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She always put others before herself, offering encouragement, comfort, and a listening ear to anyone in need. Her quiet strength and selfless spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Although our hearts are deeply saddened by her passing, we are forever grateful for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the legacy she leaves behind. Her love will continue to live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Neyda's life at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society located at 1654 North Semoran Blvd Orlando, FL 32807 on 11 August 2026 between 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Together, we will honor and celebrate a remarkable woman whose love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains in our hearts forever. We will miss her deeply, cherish her always, and carry her memory with us every day.
