Obituary

Madonna “Donna” Sisko (née Lilley), age 70, passed away peacefully at home in Titusville, Florida, on February 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Madonna was born on July 29, 1955, in West Islip, Long Island, New York, to the late Ken Lilley and Constance Lilley. She carried her New York roots with her throughout her life, along with a deep devotion to family that defined who she was. During her childhood, her family briefly relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico, when her father was transferred to White Sands Missile Base, before ultimately settling in Titusville, where she would build the life she loved most. As a young girl, Donna was a cute little blonde with beautiful brown eyes and an adorable smile — a warmth she carried with her throughout her life. She loved horseback riding and took riding lessons, beginning a lifelong love of horses that she would later share with her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of Matt Sisko, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, partnership, and unwavering love. They were rarely apart, inseparable in the truest sense, building a life centered on loyalty, devotion, and family. She was lovingly overprotective of her sons and deeply devoted to her husband, always placing her family first. Donna was a proud and loving mother to Matthew Sisko (Jaclyn Sisko) and Ryan Sisko (Michelle Sisko), and a caring presence in the life of Aindrea Schissel. She was an adoring grandmother to Matthew and Delaney, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Her grandchildren knew her love as unconditional, constant, and warm — a love that will continue to shape them in the years ahead. One of her greatest joys was taking them horseback riding once a week, special one-on-one time with “Gran” that they looked forward to every single week. She is also survived by her siblings, Jack (Marie) Lilley and Kathy (Steve) Hipson, along with countless nieces and a nephew who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by other loved ones who now welcome her home. Donna worked for many years as an office manager, where her organization, reliability, and warmth made her someone others depended on daily. She also cooked for astronauts and their families and worked for a major cruise line. No matter where she worked, she brought dedication, efficiency, and heart. She was a planner through and through. While others packed at the last minute, Donna packed three months in advance. She was famously “always prepared,” known for having just about anything someone might need tucked away in her purse. It was often joked that if you were stranded, Donna had you covered — whether it was a flashlight, a measuring tape, or somehow even something bigger than her purse should reasonably hold. If you needed it, she had it. Her greatest joy was family time. She loved camping, trips to the Florida Keys, and truly anywhere that meant being together. When the family camped, Donna brought enough food to feed half the campground — and she gladly shared, even when it wasn’t her night to cook. All were welcome. It was often said, “Party at the Sisko campsite!” Her smile was constant, and her heart open not only to her children and grandchildren, but to their friends as well. Everyone felt at home with Donna. One of the lasting lessons she gave her children became a lifelong source of comfort. When they were scared, she would tell them not to worry unless she started to worry. That reassurance carried them through the years — and in a beautiful full-circle moment, those same words were spoken back to her near the end, a testament to the strength, peace, and comfort she instilled in her family. What people will remember most is her smile and the love she gave so freely. A viewing will be held on February 21, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11:00 am. all at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in Titusville, Florida. She will be cremated, and her family will honor her memory privately in the way she would have loved most — together. Madonna’s legacy is one of devotion, preparedness, fierce love, laughter, and a heart big enough to feed a campground. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
