IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marcia Ann
Campbell
June 26, 1948 – August 31, 2024
Marcia Ann Campbell, 76, of Ormond Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully Saturday, August 31, 2024, with her loving husband, Mark at her side.
Marcia was born in Washington, a daughter of Robert Allen Warnick and Mary Rose Verderber Warnick. She graduated from Washington High School in 1966 and earned an Associate in Arts / Nursing from the Community College of Beaver County in 2000. She married her husband, Mark, in May 1969 and they enjoyed a loving, caring, and adventurous 55 years of marriage.
Marcia could do anything and do it well: from golf and tennis, to cooking and knitting, to helping others with whatever they needed. She was passionate about her dogs, Cody, Smokey, Sunshine, Rusty and Smiley. She had a lightning quick wit and great analytical mind. Marcia accompanied Mark during his military service and his career that followed. Together, they traveled throughout the U.S., often by vehicle.
In 1977, Marcia and Mark along with Marcia's brother, Ron, started Automotive Performance Specialties as a custom speed shop and engine machine shop in Monaca; they added an automotive service center, The Enginemasters, in 1979. While operating these businesses, Marcia contributed to the success of the family enterprise utilizing her extensive administrative skills. In the late '80s, when personal computers and IT networks were in their infancy, Marcia set up and managed a complete network with many operating stations for the business. The business flourished from 1977 until 2001, when Mark was offered a great career opportunity in Daytona Beach, Fla. The couple moved to Port Orange, Fla. in late 2001 and Marcia volunteered at church and the Halifax Humane Society.
The year 2008 brought Marcia's next chapter of her life with a move to Lafayette, Ind., again to support Mark in a career advancement. It was there that Marcia was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2010. The couple relocated back to the greater Daytona Beach area in 2016 residing in Ormond Beach. Marcia was a loyal friend, the best wife that God could have provided Mark, and a loving aunt and sister. She loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and is now at peace in His company.
She is survived her husband, Mark, and by her brothers, Robert (Linda, deceased) Warnick, and Ron (Rita) Warnick; as well as several nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00pm, in the Lone Pine Country Club, Washington, PA, for close friends and family members. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association , in Marcia's name.
