Marco Polo Schweter passed away on April 2, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida .

He was the beloved husband of Caroline (née Kelly) and devoted father to Adonna Niosi (Michael), Marco, John-Michael, and Grace. He was the son of the late Bernard Schweter and Catherine (née Baruzzi), and brother to Nancy McSeveney (Donald) (deceased), Rita Williams (Bryan), and Bernie (Virginia). He was a cherished uncle to Gabe McSeveney, Shannon Tennant (David), Ross Williams, Margo Schweter, and Bernie Schweter III, and proud grandfather of James and Megan. Marco was also a treasured cousin and friend to many.

Marco dedicated 58 years of his life as an accomplished pipefitter with Pipefitters Local 120. Outside of his profession, he found great joy in boating, hunting, and fishing – pursuits that brought him peace and fulfillment throughout his life.

A Catholic memorial service honoring Marco's life will be held on April 17th at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1100 El Jo Bean Road, Port Charlotte, Florida .

Donations in Marco's memory may be made to the Peace River Wildlife Center and mailed to Caroline at 957 Springview Avenue, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
