It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Margaret Mary Alexatos, devoted mother, wife, sister, and friend, who left us at the age of 83. Mom passed away at home with her children and grandchildren by her side on November 21, 2024.

Born in the Bronx, New York on February 23, 1941, mom was a beacon of strength, dedicated to her family. Preceding her in death was her husband, (our father) Spridon Alexatos who passed away just 8 months earlier on March 8, 2024.

She is survived by her beloved brother John McGuire; her seven children: Debbie Peikidis, John Alexatos, Harriet LaBarte, Katrina Romano, Georgios Alexatos, Persefoni Nicolosi, and Gerasimos Alexatos; 15 grandchildren: Angel, Billy, Christina, Gianna, Nicolette, Denise, Christian, Sabrina, Delilah, Stephanie, Remi, Michael, Maria, Brianna, Justin; and 8 great grandchildren. Her unwavering support and strength will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held in January, details to follow.
