Margaret (Peg) Casey, formerly of The Villages, FL, formerly of Intervale, NH, and Swampscott and Salem, MA, died on March 3rd in Glen Ellyn, IL.

After graduating from the Katharine Gibbs School, Boston MA, she was the flight attendant training supervisor for Trans World Airlines in Boston, MA, and in 1978 became a registered nurse after graduating from Lynn Hospital School of Nursing and Salem State University in MA.

Peg moved to The Villages in 2005 and was an Operation Shoebox volunteer and a member of the Flight Attendants Club. She also coordinated fundraisers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Project Legacy, and the Sumter County Youth Center.

She was preceded in death by her beloved companion, Walter Kurz of The Villages, and her husband, John F. Casey, Sr.

She leaves sons John (Mary) of Oakland, CA; Paul (Pushpita) of Ashburn, VA; and Richard (Laura) of Glen Ellyn, IL; and six grandchildren.
