Margaret Jean Martin, 87, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on October 23, 2017 at her residence. Jean was born on April 25, 1930 in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada to the late Albert G. and Katherine Wenninger Connell. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, loved the opera, was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was also a prolific and widely appreciated Artist and an excellent cook.  She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Martin; her daughter, Jan Martin; her son, Paul Martin and his wife Jana; her son, Doug Martin and his wife Yvonne; her brother, Ian Connell; and her 2 grandchildren, Sarah Varney and Alex Martin. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Jean to the HOPE Hospice. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Ft. Myers, FL.
