Margaret Irene Marra, 104 ½, of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, formerly of Freeport and Wantagh, New York, passed away on February 5, 2016 at the Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange, FL. Margaret was born on August 9, 1911 in Freeport, NY. She worked for many years in the Garment Industry, and she loved gardening. Margaret is survived by her 2 daughters, Carol Cline of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, and Barbara Kocaj of Long Island, NY; her 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John S. Marra. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St, Port Orange, FL 32127. Also, Services will be held on Sunday, March 13th, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Hungerford and Clark Funeral Home, 110 Pine St., Freeport, NY 11520. Burial will take place on Monday, March 14th at the Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Margaret to the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
