Margaret Joan O'Neal Webb, "Peggy", passed away October 7, 2009 at home after a brief battle with cancer.  Peggy was born on November 4, 1948 in Detroit, MI to Albert and Virgie Chapman O'Neal.  At the age of nine her family moved to Grosse Pointe, MI where she graduated from Grosse Pointe High School in 1966.  In 1969, she married Patrick Webb, a boy she met in the seventh grade and were High School Sweethearts.  They moved to Orlando in 1969 and had two sons.  Peggy was a wonderful mother and wife and was known and loved a stranger to no one.  She was known at the "Cool Aid" kid mom as it was not unusual for 15 – 20 of her son's friends to show up after school at their house.  Peggy still knows most of them to this day.  The family moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1990.  Peggy loved the beach and the small town lifestyle of New Smyrna.  She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Patrick; devoted sons, Paxton and his wife, Machelle Treat Webb and Patrick Webb, II; adored grandson, Trace Webb; brother, Albert and his wife, Phyllis Walker O'Neal, III and other family members, Cherie Chapman Phillips, Prudence Webb Billiu and her husband, Charlie, Priscilla Webb Schaupeter and her husband, Ronald and numerous nieces and nephews.  Hospice of Volusia-Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 2:00PM at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on October 24, 2009 (map/driving directions) 1:30 PM to 2:00PM at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on October 24, 2009 (map/driving directions)
