Margret Ann Aprea Taormino 77 of Tavares Florida and Garden City NY passed away October 5th 2016.

Mrs. Taormino was born in Forest Hills, New York on December 20th,1938 to John and Margaret Burke and grew up in Garden City, New York. Peggy graduated  with honors from Manhattanville College and worked as an assistant editor at Vogue prior to her marriage in 1964.

She was a devoted mother, artist, social worker and bridge player who loved animals and people alike.  She has been preceded  in death by her husband, Louis G Aprea and son, Louis J. Aprea. She is survived by her husband, Frank Taormino, of Tavares, Florida and  son, Stephan Aprea, of New York, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts to the B.E.F. Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis research or St. Pauls Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida. A  Ceremony will be held on December 20th in NY . Friends and Family can email to aprea2002@yahoo.com > for memorial information .
