Maria Albert, 92, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2016 at the Windsor of Palm Coast.  Maria was born in Romania and came to America in 1950.  Beginning in the late 1980's, she and her husband Johann were snowbirds spending their winters in Flagler Beach and summers in New York.  They became permanent residents of Palm Coast this past spring.

Maria was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Schmidt, who passed on September 24, 2016.  She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years Johann Albert, son Walter (Edith) Albert of Fredericksburg, VA, daughter Rita Albert of Little Neck, NY, grandson Richard (Nadine) Albert and great-granddaughter Jennifer of Tampa, FL, grandson Thomas (Heather) Albert and great-grandsons Tyler and Chase of Fairfax Station, VA, granddaughter Christine (Derek) Reid and great-grandsons Cole and Ewan of Yorktown Heights, NY, son-in-law Jerome Schmidt of Endwell, NY, grandson Paul (Jenna) Schmidt of Oakland, CA, and granddaughter Ellen Pavlak and great-granddaughter Abigail of Trinity, FL.
