Maria Manzella, 82, of Deland, FL, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, with her daughter by her side.  Maria was born in Buffalo, NY on July 25, 1941, to Vincent and Annette Manzella.  Maria was loved by many, but her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her three children: Steve (Dianne) Marchese of Atlanta, GA, Keith Marchese of Virginia Beach, VA, and her daughter Danielle (Michael) Chatham of Orlando, FL.  She adored her three grandchildren: Carly Chulack (27), Micayla Staffier (30), and Dominic Marchese (27).  She had a special relationship with her granddaughter Carly, who recently blessed her with a Precious great granddaughter Amara Jade.

Maria was a deeply spiritual person and loved to sit outside and take in all of natures sights and sounds.  She loved to write and share her poetry and linger over a meal and share stories.  She fondly spoke of summering at the family home on Lake Erie in Angola NY.

She is survived by her 4 siblings, Annette (Gordon) McKenna of Novi MI, Carmen (Rose) Manzella of Buffalo NY, Elaine (Gasper) Tirone of Palm Harbor FL, and Vinnie Manzella of West Seneca, NY.
